APPLIED PETROGRAPHICS has arrangements with outside laboratories to provide electron microprobe, scanning electron microscope, or X-ray diffraction analyses at reasonable cost in cases where these data are required to support the petrographic interpretations or quantitatively identify complex phase assemblages.
